CASP8

The new version of Phyre did very well at the most recent CASP8 international blind trial of protein structure prediction.

Please note that this new version (Phyre de novo highlighted in the graph below) is not yet available to the public.

We are awaiting a decision on a grant proposal to the BBSRC which would fund Phyre development and bring this added functionality to the community.

With the exception of the top ranking Zhang server, the top 10 servers were statistically indistinguishable from one another(p<0.01). See Liam Mcguffin's analysis.
