3 year PhD in Structural Bioinformatics with Prof Mike Sternberg |
Thank you for your enquiry about PhD Studentships in my Laboratory. I expect to know
if I have any UK Research Council PhD studentships in November 2003 for 3 years support
starting on 1 October 2004. Details of eligibility are summarised below and further details
can be found on the Imperial College web site under
http://www.imperial.ac.uk/P1217.htm
You must have at least a 2.1 as your first degree from a good University. Strong preference
is given to applicants who have substantial experience of developing computer programs.
Experience of using existing programs is not considered as having this skill. Experience
of biological sciences including bioinformatics is not essential, but helpful. The projects
in my Laboratory will be based on modelling protein structure and function and the type of
work can be found at http://www.sbg.bio.ic.ac.uk. .
Please watch this web site for details of when to apply. We are NOT accepting applications now.
